How our CSA works

Many CSAs offer shares only during the growing season—but MWFF is a year-round service. Secondly, MWFF pickups are market-style. In other words, you get to choose your produce from the week’s assortment. And finally, through our network of providers, you’ll get delicious add-ons like maple syrup, bread and preserves.

Benefits to the Community

By becoming a member of MWFF CSA, you are helping build a stronger community—both economically and environmentally. How? You are supporting local producers and keeping money in our community. And by owning a share in a farm that prioritizes the health of the land, you are directly contributing to more ecologically responsible agriculture. Healthy soil, clean water, and thriving community and wildlife are at the heart of why we farm.

Benefits to Your Household

A MWFF share represents a small portion of the average Ontario household food budget—roughly 25%. And consider the non-financial aspects: as a member, you know where your food comes from, you can even help growing it and you’ll be feeding your family  chemical-free food. And you may even see new vegetables!
